GREEN PASTURES (DONEGAL)

Based on the edge of the village of Convoy in Co. Donegal, this family-owned dairy business began in 1989. The company was started by John Molloy after he moved from a site in Sligo to a new manufacturing plant in Convoy; one of the best traditional dairy farming areas in Ireland.

A business inspired by family tradition, Green Pastures uses modern technology, innovation and know-how to produce great tasting healthy dairy products that are convenient for the end user.

Currently, it processes and supplies private label milk, cream, buttermilk, sour cream and creme fraiche to one of Ireland's leading retailers, together with its own Cool and Yeats Country branded range of products.

Green Pastures also supplies bulk formats to B2B and foodservice customers in Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands.

Why Us

Green Pastures works closely with food manufacturers to develop, trial, manufacture, process and supply a number of products including cheese ingredients, dessert bases, dips, sauces and ingredients with the flexibility of limited production runs.

The food technologists work with manufacturing customer's NPD teams to develop, trial and supply solutions to improve taste, texture, functionality, consistency, shelf life and quality, while seeking to achieve specific nutritional requirements and clean labelling.

Green Pastures are situated in one of the best traditional farming areas in Ireland, with a clean unspoilt environment and lush grazing pastures necessary for grass-based production.
