Carleton Cakes was brought to life in 1994 by baking masterminds Doreen and Wilfred Carleton in Cootehill, County Cavan. Former home economics teacher Doreen is the star baker – she works tirelessly to create delectable recipes to give you that “mmm…” feeling. Wilfred focuses on the commercial side, and it has taken him over 20 years in business to perfect the art of “yes dear”. Together the couple have grown the company from small beginnings to a large-scale bakery, now employing over 100 superheroes, all playing their part to ensure that each sweet treat is baked with pure magic.
